Support tickets
Members open a private channel with your team from a panel menu. Your team claims the ticket, can add or remove people, hand it over to a colleague and close it, and the conversation is posted as a transcript in the channel you choose.
- Example
- A member picks "Report a player" on the panel, answers up to three short questions, and a private channel opens with the team of that category.
- How to set it up
- The server owner or anyone with Manage Server runs
/ticket setup(also reachable from/setari). Choose the panel channel, the Discord category for ticket channels, the transcript channel, then up to 10 ticket categories, each with up to 5 team roles, up to 3 opening questions and an optional ping of the team roles. - Good to know
- Team members need one of the category's roles; only the person who claimed a ticket (or an admin) can close it or manage its members. Nettle needs View Channel, Send Messages, Read Message History and Manage Channels in the ticket category, or tickets cannot be opened. To ping a team role, that role must be set as mentionable in Discord, because Nettle does not ask for the Mention @everyone permission. A person can have 1 to 3 open tickets at a time (set by the admin). Discord itself allows at most 50 channels in a category. Transcripts cover up to 500 messages and a limited number of attachments.
